My Client, a reputable Law Firm is looking for a detail-oriented, motivated, and reliable Junior Bond Cancellation Secretary to join our dynamic Conveyancing team.

This position is based in Pretoria East. 

Minimum Requirements

  •  1–3 years of recent and relevant experience as a:
    • Conveyancing Secretary or,
    • Legal Bond Cancellation Secretary or,
    • Bond Cancellation Secretary
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Strong ability to work under pressure in a deadline-driven environment.
  • Resilient personality.
  • Must be able to work independently and with initiative.
  • Full-time | Office-based | 08:00 – 16:30

List Of Duties

  • Process and prepare bond cancellation instructions and supporting legal documents in accordance with the Bank’s requirements and the firm’s procedures.
  • Liaise with the bank, clients, attorneys, and the Deeds Office to coordinate and finalise bond cancellations within strict timelines.
  • Specifically managing the administration and finances of cancellation instructions by ensuring compliance with the bank’s financial and documentation requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with all legislative requirements and maintain up-to-date client records.
  • Capture and update matter progress on conveyancing/ Bank software systems.
  • Provide general administrative support to the Conveyancing Department, including file management and routine correspondence.
  • Regular progress and update reporting to the Bank and Attorneys.
  • Accurate drafting of all documents relating to bond cancellations.

Driver/Administrator

My Client, a reputable law firm in Pretoria East is seeking a reliable and hands-on Driver/Administrator to join their professional team. The ideal candidate will be proactive, organised, and comfortable balancing driving duties with administrative and light maintenance tasks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive to the post office and manage DOCEX collections and deliveries.
  • Transport VIP clients in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Purchase office supplies and small equipment.
  • Issue and sign out stock, ensuring accurate record-keeping.
  • Perform general administrative duties, including data entry in Excel and Word.
  • Handle ad hoc errands as required.
  • Assist with basic office maintenance, such as changing lightbulbs and minor fixes.

Requirements

  • Valid PDP licence (Professional Driving Permit)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
  • Experience in stock control and inventory tracking
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills
  • Presentable, courteous, and discreet when interacting with VIP clients
  • Willingness to perform light maintenance work
  • Must reside in or near Pretoria East. 
  • Ability to work overtime when required. I.E, be at the office at 6 am or work until 6 pm when needed.

Call Centre Manager: Banking Collections

My client, a reputable law firm with a strong presence in the banking collections space, is seeking a highly driven and experienced Call Centre Manager.

This role is ideal for someone with deep operational insight into collections strategies and a background in banking recoveries.

This position is based in Pretoria East, and preference will be given to candidates who live in the area.

Minimum Requirements

  • Matric/Grade 12 (compulsory)
  • Minimum 4 years’ experience in a call centre or financial services environment as a manager.
  • Exposure to banking platforms and recovery processes.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Clear criminal and credit record.
  • Strong command of English (additional languages advantageous).
  • Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays as needed.

Preferred Technical Experience

  • Excalibur 4 (including admin functions)
  • Calibi Software and Rocketmailer
  • FICO and ABSA recoveries systems
  • Strong Excel skills (pivoting, sorting, formula use)

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage daily call centre operations and agent productivity.
  • Lead and optimise inbound and outbound recovery campaigns.
  • Monitor collections performance and analyse book data to enhance efficiency.
  • Develop and implement effective work processes and collection strategies.
  • Conduct performance discussions and provide coaching to agents.
  • Approve and monitor leave, shifts, and staff performance metrics.
  • Provide feedback and reporting on campaign effectiveness (calls, SMS, emails).
  • Attend client meetings and accurately interpret client KPIs into operational goals.
  • Use software tools such as Excalibur 4, Calibi, Rocketmailer, FICO, Freshdesk, and Excel (pivot tables, formulas).
